Meet Lynn ... The Exceptional Man

Lynn first started sewing in John Hay High School; he was a star basketball & football player. After high school Lynn attended Bowling Green College where he played football and had aspirations of being a professional NFL football player. Lynn sustained a severe knee injury that shattered his hopes of playing football in the NFL. Lynn continued to sew for fellow Bowling Green students and faculty, which assisted him in earning extra money.

 
After college Lynn pursued his sewing career by attending, Progressive Institute of Fashion Design from which he obtained his certification as a Master Tailor. After Progressive Institute of Fashion Design Lynn perfected his craft further by understudying with Italian, Yugoslavian and Russian tailors. Lynn took his craft to the road by designing and sewing for musical artists such as, The Temptation, Al Green, James Brown, The O'Jays, Levert, Whitney Houston, Bobby Brown, etc. Lynn continues to do Custom sewing along with alterations, Lynn also sells men's suits, casual and outer wear.

Lynn has recently accepted a position as a certified fitter/tailor for Nordstrom Corporation located in Austin TX. The news of Lynn's amazing talent spread quickly through out the Austin area. Lynn's friendly disposition, ability to communicate well with all types of people and to make them feel confident in the way they dress and look has once again afforded him the opportunity to build a fast growing personal shopper, fitter/tailor cliental.

One of Lynn's most important goals is to teach the art of custom fitting & tailoring, fashion etiquette, grooming, and entrepreneurship to male junior high and high school students in order to prepare them for adulthood and their perspective career goals. Also Lynn would like to teach the art of fitting & tailoring in the correctional institutions. Tailoring is a skill that will always be needed and unfortunately is a dying trade.
